Off the Record

With Melvin Vermeer

I've been working as a professional voiceover artist for more than twenty years, and during that time I've met some wonderful people, worked on fascinating projects and learned a great deal about running my own creative business.

But there's much more to this profession than recording scripts behind a microphone.

That's why I started Off the Record.

In this podcast, I share personal stories and experiences from my career. From the relationships I've built with clients to the challenges, opportunities and unexpected moments that come with working independently.

I'll talk about the things I've learned along the way, what has worked for me and how my experiences have shaped the way I approach my work today.

And although many of these stories come from the voiceover industry, I think there's plenty that anyone running a creative business will recognise.
